A group of us all started a beginners course on computers at Lowestoft library. This was funded by Sure Start. None of us knew an awful lot about it but fancied keeping up with our kids! I think 8 of us started the course originally but as is always the case our numbers dwindled due to people going back to work or having babies etc. Sadly one member of our group Anne O'Sullivan died while we were compiling this site. Anne was one of our original members and contributed greatly to the site as well as being the comic element in our group. She is greatly missed and we would like to dedicate this site to her memory.
Now it's just the 2 of us, Suzanne McWade and myself Paula McCann. We fit in a couple of hours a week to update the site. We do our best to get information on in time but are not always successful. We have 8 children between us so it is a bit of a juggling act.
When we started our first course less than 2 years ago, we never imagined we would be designing a web site ourselves. Well we say ourselves we would never have done it without a huge amount of help from our tutor Jo. She taught us all we know and helped us out of a few sticky patches. We also had a lot of help from Marion another member of staff at Lowestoft library.
It's been a huge learning experience for us and we hope you get as much out of viewing the site as we got out of constructing it.
